Places of Fazouro: Or Eixo, To Lousada, Morgallon, To Put, Vilarmea.

I castrate of Fazouro: Acquaintance talks each other of the only deposit excavated in the area, which remains are located in a foreland coastal next to the Arealonga beach, as "to Top do I castrate". It is a question of a marine fort of the Northwest. It is stated that was occupied between the Ist and IIIrd centuries A.D., presenting buildings quadrangular and a circular letter of cachotería of slate and some constructive elements as stairs, roadways, banks and covering. The excavated area is of limited dimensions, it presents a pentagonal structure and the totality of what would be deposit occupies an approximate extension of 7.000 m2, turning into the most important coastal fort of the province of Lugo. In the excavations realized successively from 1963 there appeared, between other materials, mills of hand, ceramics, two coins, nails, two brooches and organic remains. (Text of Turgalicia).
