The Stick is a popular district that puts out to the bay of Malaga placed between the sea and the hill of San Anthony,

The Stick, it begins in the Creek Soap-boilers and ends in the Highway of Olías, spreading up to the big heights of the mount of San Anthony, and, although it is structured, from 1953, in two parishes, the Town keep on saying that it is “un an alone quarter with the big church and with the girl ”. Several versions exist on the origin of place name “El Stick ”:Una he mentions that his origin owes to a trunk, one stick, which dragged a flood and remained anchored in the plateau of Four Corners, where it was lowering a creek.
