Faraján, which in Arab means - lively place- is placed in the Round region and more specifically in the High place Genal.
The first news that we have about the occupation of these grounds for the man they belong to the Arab period. Here there were diverse tribes of Maghrebi origin like The Magilas, Gumaras, Bahríes, Habibies and Hawaras.
Some of these Arab tribes lived together with Jews minorities and Christians that warlike campaigns had come so far like prisoners of . One of the most interesting traditions of Faraján is that of Friday Saint, in the procession of Our Father Jesus de Medinaceli.
