The Sleeve of the Minor Sea (in Murcia, Spain) is a language of ground of 24 km of extension, that it was structured from End of Sticks towards the north. His formation stemmed to sand sedimentation that the domineering currents were contributing in area. To the west of this ground language there stays the Minor sea, which is like a big salt water lake, with a small gap. To the east the Mediterranean Sea is. Both seas there are communicated for a few channels, named "ruffs", by means of which the water passes between both.

In the XVIth century what today is known as a Minor sea was a bay open, and the sleeve was a long isles border, much the together some of others; with the time grounds sedimentation was accumulating it between the islands up to giving place to the Sleeve of the Minor Sea.
