To 22 kilometers of Lorca, in direción to district of the Parish, there find remains of two fortifications, which were part of the complex defensive system created by the Muslims and which, after the Reconquest, would be transferred to the Christians, who occupied them and remodeled to defend themselves from the constant threat of the kingdom of Granada. Of the castle of Tirieza only stays some remains of his hexagonal tower and cistern.

The castle of Xiquena, raised on a rocky hill, preserves linens of walls, the door of entry and part of the towers.

Close to the Parish the thermal Baths are of Fuensanta, a rustic complex where it is possible to do stop and to take the waters minerosulfurosas.
