We find the first references in year 1530 related to the areas of garden, near to city, which they were thinking up for the hillocks of San Anthony and The Mills and they were watering with the waters of the sources of Vats and the Partridge, as it was consisting in the Ordinances of agriculture of the field of Cartagena. This area was joined to Cartagena by a real way bordered for elm trees that departing from the suburb of San Roque, the Almarjal was avoiding for the bridge of the Acequieta, and coming to San Antonio Abbot was continuing to the tower of the Albujón, Gimenado, Ports and Murcia.
