Ulea finds in the left margin of river Segura, and one gains access from Archena, and also from the highway national (N-301) for a highway of local ambience. It is a Town that spreads along the margin of the river, in the shade of the big one mountainous wall that rises after the Town, the mount of the castle. This way, Ulea is formed by a long main street that runs parallel to the river bed of the river, there being few streets parallel to her because it the hillside of the mount prevents, on the one hand, and for other her proximity to the river. Nevertheless, between the Town and the river there is enough garden, which can be the place of expansion of the Town. Of this one way, in the last years the Town has grown for one of his ends (the highest), where there are construído a few tracks sports along with the house of the countess, and on the other hand, eating area to the garden, in direction of the river, there are constructed new houses and a small park for the children. From Villanueva the first thing that we find on having brought in to the village to left there is a store of fruits that has enough activity in the summer months and gives work to enough community, and face the municipal school. In the center of the Town, since it is naturally, we find the Church and the Town hall, recently restored, and at the end of the Town the Municipal Swimming pool, and the square of The Henchidor where the Santa Cruz bathes. The remaining streets are narrow and steep climbs towards the hillside of the mount, excepting them new streets nearer to the river. Behind the house of countess, opposite to the Square of The Henchidor, divides one sinuous way towards Ojós that passes on the basin of the vale, where we find first of all the Ulea treadmill, and further on we can appreciate beautiful conference of the vale, where the river slants and bathes his leafy garden adorned with ancestral palm trees (Source Town hall)
