* XVIII century

After Carlos' death II, Daroca hugged in 1706 the Austrian pretender's cause, the archduke Carlos III, against the interests of red France for the duke of Anjou, Felipe V, for what was busy and plundered, being from then on subjected to the future king. They ended up this way almost six centuries of municipal autonomy: the occupation of justice disappeared that was substituted by a real corregidor; the composition of the town council was reformed, disappearing the juries and creating eight regidores, a secretary and two deputies of the common one.
