Palacio of Soñanes accumulates and it mixes forms of very diverse origins, through a particular interpretation of the classic (doric, ionic and Corinthian) orders and with whites plateresque references. It presents cube form, he/she has three floors of height and their interior is occupied completely by a monumental stairway of two shots that you/they belong together with the two main facades. Éstan presents an ornamental great wealth, with abundance of pilasters and exempt Corinthian columns, grooved shafts, salomónicos and balustered, friezes adorned with trash or grooves, whole frontons or parties sustained by gnarled columnillas, cantilevers, acróteras, gargoyles and pinnacles. The accumulation of ornaments produces a magnificent effect. Among the existent numerous heraldic pieces in the palace highlights the one located in the facade this, a stamped splendid shield with crown sustained by loves and two faced lions and with the weapons of Díaz of Maple and Pérez of the Road. In the gardens of the palace, they are several of the Singular Trees of Cantabria. Author Tabernilla
