The Monastery of Santa María from San Salvador of Canes is an abbey of nuns of the congregation of Cistercian nuns' of San Bernardo monasteries located in the municipality of Canes, in Rioja (Spain). Also known as Luz's Monastery, his was one of the first feminine communities of Císter in the peninsula. In 2007 it is inhabited by ten nuns, all them Spanish, belonging to San Bernardo's Cistercian Order or of Castile. The group was declared National Monument in 1943 (B.Or.And. nº 72 of 13-3 -1943).
