It is a shield cuartelado in which a harrier, a castle, some rocks and the head of a Moor on a bridge is represented. The shield picks up the history of the Valley.

The harrier and the castle symbolize the loyalty and strength of the Valley, the mounts represent the hardness of the land and the head of a Moor on a bridge it symbolizes the defeat of the Moors for the roncaleses in the battle of Olast in the year 785 where a roncalesa cut on a bridge the head of Abderramán I, king from Córdoba, to its step for Pyrenees.

The history demonstrates that it was not such a commander the one beheaded, but some of its generals.

Gambra marries it is a Baroque house of the XVIII century (1739), located in the neighborhood of Iriartea.
