The library, of Venetian style, is of 1780 and it possesses a true wealth of old books. He/she has the same disposition that gave him/her the abbot Don Anselmo Petite in 1780. Their greatness owes herself more to the quality and rarity of its funds that to the number, since its artistic bookcases don't admit more than ten thousand volumes. When the Benedictine monks leave the monastery in 1835 they leave it practically empty. They are since the Augustinian recoletos those that worry to recover the same books, these they stay in the towns of the surroundings. They recover more than eighty percent of the original library, something really valuable keeping in mind that the libraries of other monasteries are redone totally when the monks return.   Author Rafael Grandson
