A Corquete is a sharp utensil of hand, with a kitchen knife curved in sickle form, used in the grape harvest to retire the clusters of the vine. Used mainly during centuries in Rioja, Álava and Navarrese. In Low Rioja it is also known as ganivete or gañifete.   Author BigSus
