Calaceite, (in Catalan Calaceit) is a municipality of the district of Matarraña, in the county of Teruel, autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. The town of Calaceite is located in the careening of a hill that forms the dividing of waters between the river of Algars and Matarraña, in which San Antonio's hills stand out, of San Cristóbal and of the Castle. The oldest nucleus was formed around the old castle, of which are not visible remains, where it was also built San Pedro's primitive church, it seems to be that in the same place where he/she was the old mosque.
