The old helmet is built on the skirts of a mountain, surrounded in almost its entirety for the river Guadalaviar. To the north he/she is the mountain of Albarracín and to the south the Universal Mounts. In their municipal term to some 5 kms of the town the Protected Landscape of the Pinegroves is located of Reddish, area very recommended for the practice of the boulder.

In the surroundings the rivers are born Guadalaviar, Cut, Júcar, Cabriel and Jiloca.
