The queen Isabel II promoted the construction in Madrid of an opera theater to welcome to the court. For this task, the crown gave the lots of the Pipe of the Pear tree, in the Square of East, however political numerous events paralyzed the project, until May of 1850, 7 a Real Order impels the works of the Theater and it is demanded that they should end in a term of six months.
