Getafe is a Spanish city located in the south area of the Community of Madrid and one of the industrialized municipalities in the metropolitan area of Madrid. The importance of this town also comes from its military air base, one of the oldest from Spain, of the Hill of the Ángel, considered the geographical center of the Iberian Peninsula, and of the University Carlos III whose rectorado is in the city.
