Before the main facade, of 130 meters long for 33 of high, an esplanada conforms the Square of Weapons, similar to that of the set on fire Fortress. Palacio has a total of 870 windows and 240 balconies that open up to facades and patio. The facades are inspired by those that Bernini carried out for the Museum of Louvre in 1665 and his raised consists of two bodies: a town square padded in the base and, have more than enough this, a superior body of ionic order with gigantic pilasters, finished off by cornice and balustrade.
