Of the churches of the Reconquest, this of Santa Marina can be maybe the most medieval of all. In the middle of located heart of the neighborhood that takes the same name that the church, and that it is known popularly as the Neighborhood of the Bullfighters - since before Santa Marina the monument lifts to bullfighting Manolete - it is one of the oldest from Córdoba and its origins are supposed around the century VII, being reedificada after the Reconquest.
The cover on the side of the epistle of Santa Marina's church is the best conserved of the primitive building. It presents a body with gable that is framed with two buttresses decorated with diamond tips and finished off with lis flowers. The door is constituted by pointed widened arches that they support its capitals, adorned with human and animal figures, on delicate columns. In the center of the gable we find a niche with a sculpture.
