The Square of Spain of Seville configures one of the most spectacular spaces in the architecture regionalista. In charge to the architect Aníbal González (that he/she was also managing architect of the event), for the Ibero-American Exhibition of the year 1929 (inaugurated by their majesty the king XIII Alfonso), they ended up working at the same time in their construction a thousand men. Their total surface is of 50.000 square meters, of those that 19.000 are built and those 31.000 remaining they are free space, the channel occupies 515 meters of longitude. The work began in 1914, finishing it in 1928 the architect Vicente Traver after the resignation of Aníbal González like managing architect in 1926. It is located inside María's Park Luisa, being their next entrance for the arbor of Valiant Cid, I joust in front of this monument and the Real old Factory of Tobaccos. The entrance is free and to avoid vandalisms it is closed at the 22 hours.
