Burgos, the Choir of the Cathedral

| The choir is located in the central ship, starting from the cruise, from 1550. Felipe of Vigarny begins it in 1506; in a second phase Simón of Bueras intervenes, and they culminate him, closing the later part, GarcÃa of Arredondo and Luis of Gabeo. It has 103 seats in those that a program agreement iconográfico is developed with the end to that he/she is devoted: the song of the psalms and readings of the Writing in the divine occupation and the prayer for the whole Church. In the canopy the reliefs of the Old Testament and statuettes of Prophets, Apostles and Santos are distributed: in the half part, the New Testament, life of Christ; and the life of the Church reflected in their Santos, in the ground floor. |
