The development of Nájera has gone even to its industrial growth. Of the urban old nucleus, packed around Santa María's monastery the Real one and to the feet of The Castle and Malpica, the population has gone passing to the right riverside of the river Najerilla where during the last decades new blocks of housings and centers industrial commercial, as well as diverse facilities have arisen that confer him/her a character of modern city whose continuous expansion is contemplated in a coherent plan of ordination urbanística.
