Tárrega (officially and in Catalan Tà rrega) is the capital of the district of Urgel, in the county of Lérida, in the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. He/she has a population of 11.344 inhabitants.
The economic main activities are their agricultural market and the derived industries.Lima to N with the municipalities of Puigverd d'Agramunt and Ossó of Sió, to the AND with the municipality of Els Plans of Sió, to the YOU with the municipalities of Grañanella and Grañena of Segarra, to S with the municipality of Verdú, to the OR with the municipalities of Vilagrasa, Anglesola and Barbens, to the NO with the municipality of Tornabous.It includes the old municipalities of Claravalls, Figuerosa and Talladell. In turn Claravalls included Santa MarÃa Montmagastrell or Santa MarÃa of Monmagantrell; Figuerosa was together to Altet that included Cunill and Riudovelles.
