MAGIC means Major Atmospheric Gamma-ray Imaging Cherenkov Telescopes, that is to say "Great Telescope of Rays Gamma of Image Cherenkov." It is located in the Observatory of the Asleep one of the Boys in The Palm (Islands Canaries). With a mirror of 17 diameter meters and an area of 240 square meters, it is able to detect the gleams of light taken place in the atmosphere by cosmic rays.
