After the conquest lusa of 1415 this Mosque was transformed in Christian temple with the adaptations that were necessary and of those that you grieve we have news. The step of the time and the damages suffered by the warlike incidences provoked the ruin of the building and the necessity of erecting a new temple projected at the end of the XVII century by the architect Juan of Ochoa.
