During the XVIII century in the island of Majorca were built a great quantity of defense towers for the surveillance of the coast due to the incursions pirates. Inside this project a masthead tower was built in the highest point in the island Dragonera. Years later the tower of creek llebeig was built to protect at first o'clock. The tower located on the pick Popi was demolished to build a fair lighthouse in the same place. Picture:
