The xeremía (in plural, xeremíes) is an instrument of the family of the typical bagpipes of the Balearic (Spain) islands.[1]

The xeremia is composed by a skin sack or another material (nowadays it is manufactured with material modern poliméricos) denominated sac or sarró (I "take out" or "pouch") where he/she accumulates the air and that he/she has three dedicated holes; one to the bufador ("blower") that is for where it is blown and you full with air the pouch; another for the "grall" that ("pointer") is the part that reproduces the musical notes and lastly that of the bordons (staffs) that you/they are usually three: the main one the "trumpet" or it embroidered ("roncón") which always sounds forming a note pedal, and the fillols that can be of decoration and not to produce any sound.
