The Statute of Autonomy for Asturias, article 3.1, it establishes that the flag of the Principality of Asturias is the traditional one, rectangular with Victoria's Cruz in yellow on blue bottom. Of Cruz's arms they hang the letters Greek alpha capital and minuscule omega that mean the principle and the end (the infinite extension of God).
In the Law 4/1990, of December 19 the relative legislation is developed to the use of the flag, as well as its official dimensions, placement place in public ceremonies, color, etc.
