| Mare of Deú of Lluc, "Moreneta."It counts the legend that soon after of the Reconquest, when the Christian, commanded by the king Jaime I, were able to snatch Majorca to the islam, an Arab marriage had to give its farm, located in the high of Serra of Tramuntana, to the new gentlemen.To survive, they didn't take in to hug the Christian faith and to baptize their children also.One of them, small Lluc, Lucas, took charge of taking to the momtañas the flock of goats and his father's sheep so that feeds there.One day Lluc observed a strange light among the thick heaths of the "massÃs."Moved by the curiosity, he/she went into in them and he/she discovered Virgin MarÃa's small figure that stood out with great difficulty of the floor.However, what really caused him/her surprise was that the Virgin had such a dark skin as his own.Prisoner of a great excitement, the young shepherd took the figure to the parish priest of the church of Sant Pere d'Escorca whose first reference documentary dates of the year 1247.El parish priest dedicated to the valuable discovery a position of honor in the small church, but the following day, when the winds of Tramuntana had diffused the news and they arrived faithful to worship her, the Virgin had disappeared.That same day in the afternoon, Lluc found it exactly in the place of the previous day again.It took it to the parish priest who placed it again in their niche to check with great astonishment the following day that had disappeared again again.This game of the hiding place continued until to the parish priest he/she was lit a Virgin luz:la he/she wanted to be in the place in that, with its splendor, he/she called the attention of the pastorcillo for the first time Lluc and immediately it was built a chapel there.This is the romantic and poetic version and who resists to rush in the arms of the rationalism modern-accepting, for example, the most prosaic version that in mallorquÃn "lluc" it means forest that is still plentiful in the place and that, therefore, small Lluc in a compassionate invention with a nickname will appropriate-make well in believing it believe strongly.He/she made this way it and it continues making it the town, because immediately they began to flush pilgrims with such an intensity that in the year 1260 put on the first stone of the hermitage of Nostra Senyora of Lluc, governed then by the order of the Augustinian ones, later on, the construction was enlarged with a seminar and at the present time they reside in her and monks of the Sacred Heart assist her. |

The Flag of the Balearic Islands is constituted by four red horizontal bars on yellow bottom, in the superior left part a room with lived bottom and a white castle of five towers between.The Day of the Balearic (Diada of them Illes Balears) Islands he/she takes place every year since it was approved in the Organic Law of the 2/1983. February 25. Published in BOE 1 March /1983. Their celebration date: March 1.

Palm of Majorca is a Spanish city, capital of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands.The municipal term of Palm of Majorca has a surface of 21.355,844 hectares and it limits with the terms of Calviá, Puigpuñent, Esporles, Valldemossa, Buñola, MarratxÃ, Santa Eugenia, Algaida and Llucmajor, besides with the sea.
It corresponds to the municipal term of Palm Goatherd's subarchipiélago, formed by Goatherd's islands, Rabbit burrow, Estells, Imperial, Rodona, Foradada, Page, Pobra and other smaller islands. In Palm of Majorca their costs, their beaches and their ports prevail.

Denim is located on a natural port of Mediterranean Ocidental. It was founded by one of the generals and brother of AnÃbal, Magician, for that that the Romans, once they annexed it, Portus called it Magonis. It passed at the hands of the Romans and, with the fall of the Roman Empire, vandals occupied it and Byzantine. Then it suffered frequent attacks of the Norman and Muslim, until finally, in the year 903, it was conquered and annexed to the Caliphate of Córdoba. In 1287 the king conquered it Alfonso III of Aragon. Later on, in 1535, Denim suffered a great looting on the part of the corsairs of Barbarroja. The king Felipe II began San Felipe's construction of the strong one, in the south bocana of the port of Denim. It was about one of the most imposing works of military engineering in the time and reputed as unassailable.
