He/she has a longitude of 3.200 meters and a width that it arrives until the 500 meters with a very sharp and irregular relief that provokes the appearance of some protuberances ending up reaching the highest pick in the island, call Chop Popi, about 360 meters high. The next towns to this island are those of San Telmo and Port of Andrach, where submarinismo centers and diving that it attracts many tourists in the summery seasons have settled down.

Denim suffered more changes of sovereignty. Captured by the Britons in 1708 during Guerra of Spanish Succession and given officially soon after the Treaty of Utrecht, it spent during seventy years a British (and the port of Denim a naval British base in Mediterranean) dependence in the XVIII century. The British presence impelled the economy of the island, for what Denim that had transformed into the capital of the island transformed into a commercial center and of smuggling of first order in Mediterranean. The British influence you can appreciate in the local architecture. On the contrary, Citadel, the old capital and clerical and aristocratic haven, languished. During the diverse conquests and reconquests of Menorca that were happened during the XVIII century San Felipe's castle it was ordered to demolish for the king Carlos III who he/she reasoned that if such a jewel of the military engineering stopped to exist, the Englishmen would stop to feel like Menorca. The result was that when the Englishmen tried again to reconquer Menorca disembarking in Creek Mesquida, there was not any fortification for oponérseles and they could take the island without low. Later on and already in the XIX century, another imposing construction was built, this in the north part of the bocana of the port, the Strength of Mola.
