The Cárcar town raises on one steep alabaster rock in the bank of the river Ega. With the Square of the Jurisdictions as center of his activity, the town the Reredos of San Miguel is presided by the church of San Miguel Arcagel that receives in his interior bellsimos reredoses, in particular, work of XVIIth century one of the principal works of the Navarrese baroque.

Within a period of Cárcar the chapel gets up also of Ours Lady of Grace, baroque construction of the XVIIIth century. There lodges in his interior a reredos rococo of the XVIIIth century with a Gothic image of titling it of the XIVth century.

Inside the downtown we can find in Cárcar some houses excavated in the rock, today used like stores. Also we can see noble houses.

The agricultural food packing industry gives faith of the quality of the vegetables of the area.
