In this downtown his houses stand out stately and palatial that reflect the antiquity, history and dominion of the locality. The local religious architecture is represented by the Church of Santiago and by the chapels of San Pedro and Saint Engracia. As for the civil architecture one emphasizes the building of the Town hall, of the XVIIIth century, of baroque style; Palace of Arizkunenea, rebuilt in the year 1730 and that lodges in the actuality the culture house; the Palace of Datué; the House of Viceroy and two stones bridges of chairs on the river Bidasoa. From this place one gains access to the pertaining to dolmens Erratzu station- Aldudes, dolmens and menhirs in Oiza, Burga and Urrixka II. As soon as to the traditions and folklore of the locality to stand out Baztandarren Biltzarra, a holiday of brotherhood in which there take part fifteen Towns of the vale and that is celebrated in summer, without date fixed. The most important dances of the vale are the Sagar dantza or dance of the apples and the Mutildantza. As typical products of place is necessary to emphasize the cheese, hazelnuts, chocolates and fungi in it preserves. Also elements of wax, forge, shoe shop, yokes and wooden elements. A moment much adapted to see and to buy these products there are usually the fairs and the markets. In Elizondo they celebrate at present two fairs, that of autumn and that of spring. Until the beginning of the XXth century there were the principal buy point and sale.
