To visit Güesa is to return to an arrested past. To breathe calmness and art is what the traveler one is going to find that visits this nice village of Vale of Salazar. It is washed by the river Salazar from which it obtains a maginifica panomarica if one places on the bridge that crosses it. The building to be emphasized is San Esteban and his reredos romanist.
The vale of Salazar and the forest of Irati they allow to explore the side more rural than the Old Kingdom
To walk along Towns of narrow and cobbled streets and to leave that the time happens in the quietude of an idyllic scenery are acts that there forms part of the routine of the vale of Salazar. In the north part of the vale there is the forest of Irati, the biggest forest spot of Navarre and one of the most attractive for the visitor. The Irabia reservoir, in the middle of the forest, serves like mirror for the multicolored labyrinth that form the trunks and the branches of the trees. It is a water the most beautiful that marks the beginning of a footpath between beeches and firs, much adapted for the senderismo.
