The parish occupies the center of the hamlet of Our Lady of the Asunción, building protogótico of the XIIIth century; there presides at the presbytery Parish of Our Lady of the Asunción one major monumental reredos, fechable about 1560, with plateresque touch and sculptures of hasty style expresivista own of the epoch. In the outskirts of the parish there is a baroque house with escutcheon rococo and remains of the ancient medieval hospital of Santa Maria with two gateways of ends of the XVth century in whose keys the legend appears that indicates the character of the building.
The Town is protected sheltered by the Rock that takes his name and from which magnificent panoramas can be contemplated both of Viana's Earths and the vale of the Ebro, and of the High place Ega and the Vale of Aguilar.
