Placed to the west of Aoiz along with the river Erro, it borders to the north on Redín, to the east on Beorlegui, on the South with Urroz and on the west on Uroz. It emphasizes the Lizoáin bridge that is a medieval bridge of three arches, placed in a way that goes down Lizoáin and crosses the river Erro up to coming to the highway that passes for the Erro vale. It has medieval typology, with fortress hanging on both sides.
It preserves an ancient tradition in Oscariz: The Trinidad talks each other of the pilgrimage of , a procession and an Eucharist in which protagonist is an ancient image of the Child Jesus, in whose neck ride hanging - inside a cross - a relic of the lignum crucis brought up to Redín, centuries behind, for the Capuchin gift Tiburcio de Redín.
