This town placed in full Way of Santiago, it is original of the Middle Age, epoch of the one that several doors of the primitive wall preserve that population was surrounding it : the Portal of Castile, along with the ancient bridge of chairs on the river Odrón; that of the Levy, in the end north-western of the city center; and between both, the Portal of San José. The aspect of the town corresponds especially to the reforms realized in the XVIth, XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries, in accordance with the taste Renaissance and baroque. Buildings of this style are Town hall and the houses that give to the squares of Santa Maria and of Fruit.

The religious building of major interest is her church of Santa Maria, an original temple of the XIIth century and concluded in baroque style. Attached to the stretch of the feet, for the side of Gospel, the high tower of this parish is located, her more beautiful than the Navarrese Renaissance.
On the baroque tabernacle - exhibitor of the biggest reredos there is the dressing room, where the magnificent one lodges size sedate you of the Virgin with the Child of the XIVth century.
In one of the chapels of the side of the Gospel of the Parish of Santa Maria of The Arches locates the small reredos of the Visitación of the beginning of the XVIth century, which formerly presided at the chapel of the Eulate. It presents Gothic type touch Aragonese with bank divided for baquetones in six panels and body only of three streets, formed for pilastrillas finished off in pinnacles, with canopies of rich soaked Gothic tracería, framing the joint dust cover much decorated for cardina; another canopy crowns the central street on the dust cover.
