The Town arranges of way messed up to overcoat of a hillside to himself and in the right margin of the river Ega. On top there lifts, standing out, the massive block of the church – fortitude of the Asunción and whose interior is kept by the Biggest beautiful Reredos, one of the pictorial reredoses hispanoflamencos of major quality of Navarre. The Palaces deserve to stand out in Maranon, the tradition potter of the Town and the beautiful scenery that surrounds the locality, marked by the river Ega, the rock of Lapoblación and the Saw of Codés.
The church of Our Lady of the Asunción is a building of late rural Romanesque style, of the beginning of the XIIIth century with modifications in the XVth and XVIth centuries. In his municipal term it finds the chapel of the Saint Christ of modern construction (Sources: Government of Navarre and Union of Montejurra).
