Locality placed in the right margin of the river Ameztia, is distribuída between his nucleus and several hamlets dispersed with a population of approximately 250 inhabitants. There deserves attention the set of houses of the Biggest Square of the Town, some of stone and with carved balconies, and the Church of San Miguel, building of XVIth century. In the same Town are the Chapels of San Cristobal and San Antonio and it is possible to gain access to the Pitxortar dolmen and to the prehistoric Larremiar tumulus. (source I govern of Navarrese)
