The Treasury Department Toasts of Mrs Maria, in Two Sisters (Seville), one is a good example of the architectural type of the household chores of olive grove of Sevillian ambience. His set of buildings can be appreciated as an element that forms the proper rural scenery in which it is inserted. Heiress of the primitive models of development of ground, in his emplacement have been Roman remains and there exists also reference of which it was an Arab farmhouse, property of Ibu Jaldún.
It was constructed, according to the tradition, by king Peter I de Castilla for Mrs Maria de Padilla like place of playtime of the kings. Her more ancient part of the ranch is the ancient military tower that still survives, being built probably after reconquest of Seville.
To his ethnological value for rustic work ranch preserves the original distribution of one , it is necessary to add his artistic value since it preserves the original and more ancient part of the building, the ancient one military tower that by his stylistic characteristics can be framed in Mudejar style. From this ancient construction and citing as an example his primitive art style, there took place all the enlargement that constitute the current ranch being realized in style neomudéjar for the architect José Gutiérrez Lescura, author also of the pavilion of Morocco for the Exhibition Latin American of 1929.

Description:

The Treasury Department Toasts of Mrs Maria the farm is located in the highest level of and he answers, basically, to the traditional typology of this one type of buildings. It is structured concerning a wide courtyard centrally that, in this case, presents trapezoidal plant, around of which corridors get ready perimetrales, duplicated in the faces north and west.
The dominion does not occupy the normal position centred with the access, but that locates in the corner northwest of the building, they gaining access to the same one across space porticado.

Volumétricamente the set is characterized for his marked horizontalidad altered in his four angles by towers. Three of they are of square plant and other one, placed in the area of dominion, it presents plant of six sides, standing out of the wall of front. Also, along with this one there is the ancient tower that him names the farm. In the exterior fronts a series is opened of vain of different dimensions (doors and windows) formed for arches polilobulados framed for alfices. The walls of fronts are finished off for merlones.
In the access corridor there gets ready a series of dependencies that serve as housing to the workTown of the ranch, occupying it central position of the same one. In the north corridor, along with the dominion, the mill and the deposit were getting ready, dependencies destined in actuality to workshop and depots.

The corridor this one lodges the granaries and other dependencies secondary, staying on the outside and with independent access them implements courtyards. Special interest presents the attached garden, with rectangular plant structured by means of two orthogonal streets that cross in a central small square in which a source is ornamental of plant octogonal.

One of the fundamental elements is the courtyard. It has plant rectangular and soil paved in the shape of checkerboard. In his side lefthander locates a well with stone rim and ironwork with pulley, surrounded with orange trees and a cypress. To the same height but in the side opposite of the courtyard and attached to the front of the blocks, one exists drinking trough or basin framed by an arch aimed in whose center there is a niche with a classic sculpture. About the courtyard the following dependencies are : dominion, granaries, stores, blocks and housings of the foreman and of other workTown. All this forming one combined where it predominates over the whitewashed one of the walls and vain of doors and windows with arches of Islamic reminiscence. Also we find classic elements of transport (columns, capitals, mosaics, that one). adorning some areas of the courtyard.

The Tower of Mrs Maria, of rectangular plant, is the construction more emblematic and understudy of the ranch. It has two plants and a covering with castellated patio. Turn of a small front one gains access to her from the courtyard to with pointed arch and two columns added of transport material. The first floor does function of vestry on having been communicated by the chapel. The entry door to this one, which has square plant, presents horseshoe arch framed in an alfiz decorated with plasterings. Also this space stays connected with the housing or dominion across one door of access to the principal dining room.
Both the tower and the chapel are the primitive Mudejar areas being the rest of the dependencies neomudéjares (the "House Resides", Ornamental garden and moderate you).

A1 courtyard of the hamlet one gains access across a front formed for a pointed arch that is decorated by motives of clear inspiration Islamic and flanked by double pilasters that support one entablamento whose frieze has sign where the name of appears farm "Tower of Mrs Maria". All this remains crowned for merlones with type omeya, turning head office in a small bulrush with bell and above a forge cross.

The structure amble is, basically, of walls of load of factory of brick, plasters and whitewashed. On these one arranges her wooden armor of support of the covering, which is mostly to two waters and which in the auxiliary dependencies leaves sight to itself, with wooden thongs and board of brick on the one that arranges to herself her copulation of curved ceramic tile. In some dependencies there is replaced the tile by a covering of fibrocemento who gets ready straight on the ancient wooden armor.
