The poble of the Riba és format per diverse agrupaments urbans. The nucli of Cap de la Riba és to the part of dalt of the poble, to l'extrem Superior of the carrer of the High Coast, i constituïa anys enrere the nucli d'habitatges of the gent occupied in l'agricultura i the ramaderia.

The central nucli of the poble is troba to the low part of the carrer abans esmentat. Between ambdós nuclis hi there is the barri dit els Molins of més Amunt

Municipi of The Riba

A tret característic d'aquest nucli, és the pont that travessa the Francolí comunicant they barriades d'un costat i altre of riu. In aquesta area hi there is train l'Estació, inaugurated l'any 1862. I finalment the barri of the Ràpita, to l'altre costat of the highway i of the railroad route.

Llocs per Els excursionistes disposen d'infinitat to visit i els escaladors prunes to practise aquest esport, to them parets of Penya Roja i in altres cingleres, amb the sojornar possibilitat on the terreny d'acampada "Terreny d'acampada Riba", actualment regentat per Direcció Gral. Of Joventut de la Generalitat.

The festa major of the poble s'escau the first setmana d'agost cap, in honor of sant Abdó i sant Senén. The festa major d'hivern celebrates the diumenge pròxim to 30 of novembre, festivitat of Sant Andreu. (ftes i photos to see links of the card)
