The tower of defense, which in constructing l'església in 1820 passà to be utilitzada a com to campanar, dates segons M. F. Bru dels segles XIII - XIV (in canvi Català Roca the creu construïda per Barcelona to the segle XV com to element from defense of the camí of Castellet de Banyoles to Miramar). In 1578 hi funcionava a molí d'oli i 1820 is I constructed the cementiri.
