Població agregat Nucli to Llorac i situat to the band oriental South of the terme, ja to l'altiplà segarrenc, to the dreta of the highway of Holy Cohillock of Queralt to Ciutadilla. Molt to prop seu, to the southern band, hi there is the Rauric font, on neix Riu Corb.

The poble és format per a cases petit agrupament, the voltant of the turó on s'alçà l'antic castell of Rauric, of the qual actualment només reduce els fonaments. Documentat to the segle XII, Pere de Queralt the deixà in testament (1167) als hospitalers, reservant-hi drets per to Gombau d'Oluja, Berenguer d'Aguiló i Guillem de Timor.
