Locality that is distant 31 kilometers of Alcañiz, capital of the region of the Low Aragon. Specifically one places to shores of the river Mezquín, in the oriental region area.

In this population one speaks the Bellmuntá, as it is named his by speakers, language that combines features of the western Catalan with typical of the north-western Catalan, of the Valencian one and others indigenous dialects

The religious buildings are the Parochial Church of San Salvador, of baroque style, where in his interior a beautiful one finds organ of the XVIIIth century and the Chapels of the Calvary (XVIIIth century) and that of Santa Barbara (XVIth century), the Station of the Meeting, Virgin of the Prop, San Cosme and San Damián, that of Bethlehem.

We cannot spend for high the icebox of the calatravos, which is dated in the XVIth century, a big semiunderground construction of excellent architectural value; and also the oil mill is suggestive of Stone quarry, of the XIXth century.
