Cascante of the Rio, Aragonese town of region Community of Teruel and province of Teruel, is placed in the plain of Teruel to 22 km from the capital which railway station is the most next and to 205 km from Saragossa, placed in the Iberian System on the left margin of the river Cascante, between a small hill (ancient castle) and one hollow looking for the north hillside of the mount Carrasquilla (1266 m)., in the spur N.O. of the Saw of Javalambre, framed between the hill of Santa Barbara (1222 m) and the Hillock of Cascante to 1165 m. of altitude.
