Foz is surrounded by mountains, on the foot of Monte del Castillo and opposite Monte del Palomar, also the river Guadalopillo marks the entry of the Town.

Placed in the right margin of the river Guadalopillo, on the foot of saw of White Rocks; the town is structured by the street Major inn and Hewing of stone forming a "S".

The name of Foz comes from Latin faux that it means fauce or river gullet.

The management holidays of San Pablo are January 15, although the third weekend of August is celebrated. On Thursday Lardero eats the traditional one "choricer ” in the field. Last Saturday of in April a pilgrimage is realized to the chapel of the Virgin of the Prop, of Calanda. On August 16 also a pilgrimage is done, to Foz-Calanda chapel, in honor to San Roque.
