The municipal term of Fuentespalda, with a surface of 38 km2, places in the area north of the region of the Matarraña, in the interfluvio of the river He Suffers and Tastavins. The landscape Fuentespalda environment is rich and diversely and, in general, he is well preserved. To the east of city center placed to 710 msnm, extends a wooded area in that predominates over the pine carrasco and in the one that is not difficult to sight Hispanic goats. The mountainous sector of Fuentespalda is part of the natural territory of Els Ports of Tortosa-Beceite.
Of prehistoric epoch the small overcoat is especially interesting of the Vall dels Figuerals where there preserve scarce remains of Levantine rock paintings (the fourth bottoms of one quadruped). Between the deposits of historical epoch he emphasizes it Vila Vella that Roman constitutes one of few establishments of epoch entirely (I - IIIrd century) acquaintances in this sector of Matarraña and that, undoubtedly, should have been the nucleus predecessor of current population
The population has numerous buildings (houses and portals) of XVIth to XVIIIth centuries. What formerly was the well-known jail like the Tower of the Moors, it has been restored and in the highest thing there is constructed a modern lookout, from which conference of the population turn out to be magnificent and the environment.
Of singular interest there are also the recreation of a cemetery medieval, the prehistoric habitat of the Coseam of l’Aigua and chapels like Sant Miquel, Santa Barbara and San Pedro Mártir.
The typical products of the region are: the honey, the dry fruits and the pork. Also, he emphasizes the Peach production of Calanday Olive oil, which count both with his Denomination of Origin
Holidays: On January 17 San Anthony is celebrated, with his traditional bonfires. On April 29 San Pedro is commemorated Martyr, a pilgrimage being realized.
