It is installed in the north slope of Saw of Gúdar, along with the ravine of the Resegment, tributary of the river Target or Alfambra. This river flows in his high south course to north following the folded structures of limestones and cretaceous marls, with not excessively energetic reliefs. The fund of the vale is widely and there are accumulations of patios and quaternary cones staggered that allow the extension of the cultivation.
In his municipal term two interesting towns exist belonging at the First Iron Age, one in the game of Millstone and other in the Cross of the Vallejos.
There was formerly a castle that was transferred to Sancho VII of Navarre in 1214. His parochial church is dedicated to the Virgin of Asunción and it was construída in the XVIth century, with the only ship provided with polygonal apse and starred vaults, covered later, about 1746, with decoration a rococo. His House Consistorial it consists of a market with three arches, and byline of 1797.
In the nucleus there are two chapels; that of San Jose, of the XVIIth century, and her of Santa Agueda, in hewing of stone and finish in 1.748.
On April 29 the holidays are celebrated to the boss, San Pedro Martyr or of Verona, and to San Román. In 1981 it turned to represent the dance to him dedicated after sixty two years of negligence. All the personages (dancers, foremen and head shepherd) recite sayings to the saint after the history of the miracle of San Pedro Mártir.
