Locality located to 30 kilometers of Calamocha, capital of the region of the Jiloca; specifically, in western area, bordering on the province of Guadalajara.
Of economy based on the cultivation of the saffron and of the cereals, in this population stands out, like one of the elements more significant, the parochial church of San Bartolomé.
In "The Scaffolding" in a hillock some remains were of ceramics of the Celtiberian epoch (IInd century to. C) and medieval (century XI). In "The Lomilla" ceramic material has been much damaged, and fragments of remains of jerky bell-shaped glasses (drawings geometric), also some geometric microlito was (short tools to cut, to scrape, to drill and to record, used in temporary camps done with huts of straw and I sweep). In the "Brackish Well", remains were of diverse epochs: Celtiberian, Medieval and to a possible Average Bronze (1.500 B.C.)
The chapel of the Virgin of the Favor (S.XVIII) is a construction baroque of brick, with a ship covered with vault of way cannon with fanlights; baroque brick front with óculo and bulrush; inside it preserves the Romanesque image of the holder (S.XII) and several reredoses of the S.XVI and XVIII; also it is known for «Virgin of the Slope».
Also a style house - palace is provided with good traditional architecture samples, emphasizing the house of the Fortresses, Aragonese, (ftes and text to see links)
