Municipality of Mining Basins that the regional capital status shares with Montalbán. While this one is considered to be the historical capital, Utrillas governs the region to administrative effects.

Martín is located at the edge of a hole in the saw of San Just, between cultural parks of the Mastership and of the river. The municipality utrillano includes the nuclei of the Working District of the South and of Martín's climbing vines.

The construction most emphasized from the old town is the church parochial of the Nativity of Our Lady, of the XVII.th century Erected in baroque style, there presents a front of brick and one high tower of four bodies finished off by a capital.
