The Town researches from 1095. In 1156 Alfonso VII donates the Alcabón village to Count Nuño Petriz or Pérez de Lara. Then this one archbishop of Toledo don Juan delivers the Alcabón castle to , in exchange for "The Corner of Pear trees". In 1177 it was delivering everything what he had left in Alcabón, to provide this way the altar of Santo Tomás who was erected in the given priority capital. In 1234 it represents this Town and Cespedosa between the villages of the church of Toledo. In 1179 the Queen Leonor of England, Alfonso's wife VIII donated to this I populate of Alcabón to the chapel of an English saint, Saint Tomás Cantuariense, placed in the enclosure of the cathedral of Toledo. It remained under the dominion of the above mentioned church until it was sold to Gutierre de Cárdenas, the first duke of Maqueda. In the century XVIII there was no file, and only a copy of a document stayed of donation done by Reyes Católicos in favor of don Gutierre of Violet, major commander of León, dated in Cordova in 1482.
